Question
I looked up soft claws on the net and note that thy are atached to the kitten's claws with an adhesive.  How do you remove and how often should they be changed.  A I will be buying them from the uk, I need to order enough to last a while.  Thank you.

Answer
You're right.  They are applied with an adhesive provided.  The outer sheath of a cat's nails sheds naturally every 4-6 weeks, on average.  When this happens, the Soft Claws will shed off with the nail and will need to be replaced.  You should expect to have to replace all 10 nails within that 4-6 week period.  However, a nail or two may shed prior to that, so you should keep a few extra.

If there comes a time when you need to remove them before they fall off, you can make a notch in the vinyl tip with a pair of regular nail clippers.  You should be able to peel off the tip with your fingers or a nail file after that.  If you aren't able to remove the tip easily this way, you have probably used too much glue and should use a little less on the next application.
