eye staining

We recently got a white persian kitten (6 months old) but as with so many white animals, his eyes run and his fur is horribly stained red. I try to wash the fur around his eyes once a day (though sometimes I miss a day) but still he looks like he has an ornage mask.  What do the people who show their white persians use to keep the staining off, can you reccomend anything?

White Persians always or almost always have some staining. I suggest that you ask advice of a breeder of White Persians. Can't you inquire of the breeder from whom you bought the kitten for the best manner of treating it? I am giving the urls of some products of which I know.
