QuestionQUESTION: Hi,
I am planning on getting a blue and white persian male, with copper eyes. His father has the same coat color and eyes color, and his mother is solid white blue eyed. Does this mean than this kitten can reproduce solid white blue eyed babies in future?
what if he was bred to a cream and white persian female? will there be a chance of getting blue eyed whites?
Thanks
ANSWER: Hi Moe
There is a chance of getting blue eyed white cats as the white is dominant but masking and both would carry white. There is also the possibility of odd eyed as well as copper and blue eyed kittens being produced

QUESTION: thanks for your reply,,
I have another question..
the male kitten is extreme faced, as well as his parents, but I think one of his grandparents are dollfaced or maybe both of them. On the other hand, the female kitten is pure extreme faced for few generations back.
So what type of kittens will they reproduce do you think? extreme faced or dollfaced?
AnswerHi Moe
Heredity tends to play an important part in the physical appearance of the cat, so it follows that you will probably get extreme faced kittens from this mating. This is essentially how breeders have produced this type of Persian by selective breeding.
The only sure way to encourage dollfaced kittens is to breed out to those lines carrying this feature.
