Question
In Feb 04, I had a large lipoma removed from my dog's left rear leg, he is using the leg very well, however I am noticing that leg (thigh area) is larger than the other one.  Could that be scar tissue filling in the spot left by the lipoma?  Will an xray tell much?

Answer
Lipoma is just a benign fatty tumor ... is that what you meant?  in your heading you wrote Lymphoma, which is cancer of the lymph nodes.

X-rays are not really good for soft tissue areas; therefore, I would recommend examination and if need be an aspirate of the area....it probably is scar tissue.
