Boston Terrier peeing in house

Question
I have a BT that I adopted when she was 1.5 yrs. Outside of her extreme hyperness and bolting when not on a leash, she has been a great dog for my 9-year old and I. She is loving yet protective and loves to travel. However, recently (within last week) she has started urinating on my ONLY my sons blankets that he sleeps with. She does not urinate on anything of mine - even if I have a blanket next to my sons on the couch. I can't figure out what is going on. I assumed my child may have done something to her, but he swears he has done nothing... the dog can't talk - what do I do?

Answer
You might have her checked out for a urinary tract infection.  Sometimes inapropriate urination is the beginning of an infection.  A Vet can obtain a urine sample and quickly test it in house to see if something is brewing.  It might be behavioral, but that is usually a cat thing, not a dog thing.  Hope this is all it is.  If so, it is easily treated.
