10 week old dashund puppy

my puppy is sick. he had shots at the vet 3 days ago. he shows no signs of sickness the vet told us to look out for. today he has vomited several times, and feels hot to the touch. his nose it dry and it is usually wet. he is real sleepy. is there more i need to look out for?

Robbin, there are several questions that need to be answered before your puppies condition can be evaluated.  How long have you had your puppy before this vaccination?  Has he had any vaccinations before this time?  Has there been any diarrhea?  If you have only had your pup 10 days or less, it is possible he was harboring something that did not show up until after he got his shots this time.  I would take him back to the Vet to make sure he does not have Parvo or Distemper.  I don't mean to scare you, but it is better to find out now.  It sounds like he probably has a fever and should be placed on antibiotics for a week or so even if the tests mentioned above are negative.  Puppies that age do not have a fully developed immune system, and it doesn't take much for them to become ill.
