low blood count

Hi my 3 year old maltese has a low blood count and is very mucousy in the eyes, has no appetite or energy. kinda just sits there. been to the vet not sure what is causing it. Can you give any suggestions

Hi Allyson, I have a Maltese, too.  What tests did the vet do?
Low blood count? Do you mean RBC or WBC are low?
Low iron?  Anemic...
Can you give me more info so that I can make a plan of attack?

What foods is she eating?
Has she been ill before this?
Any troubles with allergies and itching?
