Question
i had to take my dog to the vet after a reaction to the sergeants flea oil she was kept over night with fluids and now she is home and she is scratching the inside of her ears really bad is there anything i can put on them to stop it. i have tried benadryl, aloe vera and even some cortisone ointment

Answer
Wow that is terrible Candy. I hope you warn others about this product. Sergeants has had many products that have injured or killed pets. I am glad your dog is okay.

You are doing about all you can for her ears. You can try some olive oil but the itching is coming from inside of her body- most likely left over from her reaction. I would call the vet's tomorrow and ask him if you can give her an aspirin as they sometimes help with the itching. He might not want you to in case her liver was compromised by this chemical.

Benadryl would be the only internal thing that might help. Don't give her anything else until you speak with the vet.
