hi i have a austrailian cattle dog puppy i just got 2 days ago. im wondering when an australian cattle dog puppy will become his pernament color i know there born white but i didnt no if mine at 7 weeks old is at his mature dog color or if hell get darker he is a blue multed color but i didnt no if all the white hairs were from the winter and still apart of his puppy coat???

By 7 weeks old this breed is showing color on it's head and legs and some ticking. This will fill out as the puppy matures but the black or red mask that is a characteristic of the breed should already be there by 7 weeks old.

The extra white on him right now might be part of the puppy fuzz which will get sleeker and less noticeable as the blue ticking covers over it.

Make sure he gets his first vaccinations and heartworm prevention right away!
