CATNIP

Hi, I have an 8 lb. yorkie, my sister and I live in the same apartment building. My dog and I visit her and her cats often and he just loves those little catnip toys. Is it safe for him to play with them and eat catnip? Thank you in advance...

A little bit of catnip now and then won't hurt her but as with anything, don't let her get too much of it. It is a member of the mint family which is good for tummy aches.

Any dog eating a cat toy is a worry so don't let her chew them up at all. I would also worry about squeakers in the toys as well.
