Puppy found on highway has lumps

Question
A couple days ago i was going down the highway and there was this puppy running in and out of traffic. I pulled over and got her because she would have gotten run over. She looks to be hound mix and is probably around 8 or 10 weeks but today i noticed she has a couple small lumps on her belly and near her privates. I really cant afford to take her to the vet and was going to find her a home. Please help me if you can. Thank you for your time

Answer
What a great person you are to rescue the puppy. As long as she is eating and active I would not worry about the lumps. She could have a hernia. The bumps could be a mild infection. Most importantly, call the humane society to see if some veterinarians in your area would help you out with this rescued puppy. Most veterinarians will also help find homes for animals, so call every one for help. If there is an integrative veterinarian in your town or nearby, try there first. 1.
