Kitten swelling and some scabbing

I just got a kitten that has some swelling around his eye and some scabbing around his nose and mouth and also has some congestion. Other than that he is perfectly normal.  Playful, active, clear eyes, soft healthy coat. Im not sure if he needs to be seen or if this is something that will clear up on its own?k i

It sounds like he is just getting over a respiratory illness of some kind. I would be more concerned about this cats state of health then anything else.

I would get him tested for leukemia as soon as possible and make sure he is vaccinated if he tests negative for it. You should have him tested for FIV, FIP and FELV. These are generally all in one test.

He may also still have it if he is congested. So call the vet and get him in to be seen soon.
