QuestionHi,
My cat is 2 years old and up until yesterday had probably only vomited 8-10
times in his life. Yesterday he started
vomiting every few hours. He seemed fine and then a little puddle of foam or
saliva would some food would come out.
Watching my cat sleeping now, it seems as if he's laying there for about an
hour, gets a tickle in this throat, starts
licking his lips and then vomits a tiny amount. He has allergies and it
sometimes snuffley, so I am not sure if that is
what is causing this.
I had him to the vets 1 week ago for a check up, distemper shot and he also
got his teeth brushed. Up until this point he
was perfectly fine. I am taking him to the vet as soon as they open, but I was
wondering what your opinion is on this.
Can cats just get a stomach bug from being taken out of the house for 1 visit
to the vets?

Your cat may be experiencing a reaction to the vaccines. Frequent vomiting can be a problem for any animal, especially cats. Share your concern with the doctor and request bloodwork in order to screen for liver and kidney disease.
