Dog distemper.

How long will a dog live when affected with distemper.  My dog is 7 month old and does not have a distemper shot.

Answer
If the dog is infected with distemper virus, then it could be several weeks of severe illness and then the dog will either survive and do poorly or it will die of pneumonia.  There is no cure for Canine Distemper virus.  If the dog is OK and has not had any vaccines, then get them done now.
