Question
Hey there! I recently bought a 3 month old female kitten as a playmate for my almost 2 year old male cat. The first week he was fine & they were getting along great. They were playing, chasing eachother & even sleeping together. The last few days I have noticed that when they are playing he has been trying to bite her stomach. What is he doing & why? All my other cats I've had before have never done this.

Thank you for your time,

Laura

Answer
Stomach biting is not unusual for kittens when they play. But if he isn't neutered he might be trying to hurt her.

Make sure he is neutered and if he gets carried away with biting her you might have to employ the ole' water squirt bottle in the face when he tries it.

Do that a few times and he will stop pretty fast!!
