Skin infection

Jack Russell terrier 10 yrs old started off with one hot spot has traveled
To chin thigh tail legs. Vet gave steroid injection antibiotics
Said she got into something.  Same thing happened 2 yrs ago
She is on gluten free food. What could be causing this????

Hot spots are usually the result of itching from an allergy to something. If the steroids and antibiotics worked, then you should not just get him a steroid shot, but he may also need to be on some steroid tablets for a while during the allergy season to help to prevent other hot spots from occurring.
