Question
I have a queensland heeler, and two doxies.  I puppy sit a yorkie mix who
is 12 weeks old.  In the last few days my queensland started to sneeze a
lot and for the first time I am hearing her make this strange sound like
she has a tickle in her throat - it sounds like she is clearing her throat
over and over again.  I have heard my doxies do that before - I always
thought it was when she pulled too hard when she walked on a leash.  Now
all the dogs are sneezing and making that noise.  The puppy is sneezing
but not making the other noise right now.  We live in California and it
has been very windy in the past week.  I am scared. Can you help me?

Hello Rebbeca,

I think maybe the Yorkie Mix probably had a cold and passed it along to the other Dogs.

But I suggest you wait awhile and then if the problem presist I suggest you contact your veterinarian. The Dogs could have respiratory problems or cardiac problems.
