Wort or growth or bug bite

Question
About three months ago my dog recently started developing some type of growth on it's left forearm it's a little smaller in diameter than a dime but it seems to be growing like a lump out or pertruding from him .
He has all of his shots.
I asked the vet i took him to about it he says it doesn't look cancerous and it's not common in a puppy his age, he's Nine months old.
They say i can get it temoved but i cannot afford it.
The growth does not have any fur growing out of it it is hairless .

It doesnot bother his walking or anything like that but he has started liking around it.
He is also a house dog the only time he is outside is to use the restroom.
I am very concern please help.
