run over dog

I was leaving in my van earlier and ran over my small dog. She doesnt appear to be dying but is in alot of pain in her leg and hip area... i am a single mom of 3 and cant afford A vet.. help.... thanks...lisa

Hi Lisa!

You will need to take your dog to your veterinarian as soon as possible.He will need to be treated properly.There is really nothing you can do at home because only your vet will know the right thing for your pet.Maybe you can make a deal with the veterinarian,seeing how you are low on money.Eack month,or week,you can pay him a little bit of money at a time,like$10 each time,until you are all payed off.Be sure to ask him about that deal because your dog really needs veterinarian care!He may not have external injuries that can be seen,but he may have internal injuries that only a vet can determine.
