Re-entry to USA from BRAZIL with Dog

Question
Hi. I traveled to Brazil on September 5th with my dog, and got all the proper documents that were needed for her to travel with me. She traveled with me on TAM airlines, and all went well. Now i am returning to the USA on January 17th, and understand that the USA requires some paperwork also, but would like to make sure I have the correct requirements. My concern is this, do i need to get another rabies certificate for my dog, if she had hers done right before we came, and her rabies shot expires in 3 years? She is an american dog, and i have the rabies certificate signed and certified by vet, that expires in 3 years. Does the USA require a new one, since she is now living in Brazil? And does the health certificate have to be stamped by the USDA and the consulate like how brazil requires for american dogs to enter here? Or is it just a health certificate from the vet stating she is in good health to travel. Please any help!!

Thanks

Answer
The usda is in the usa.  NO, you do NOT get a health cert in a foreign country endorsed by the
usda in the usa......
You only need a health cert issued by a local vet in Brazil issued within 10 days of travel
No further endorsements.  The valid rabies vac and cert you have is good for re-entry into usa
