Question
Made me ask a new question. I know you suggested that I pull him from the tank, but as I said right now I really do not have room to set up my 10 gallon. If I have to, would the epsom salts hurt my display tank, if so, I may have to set the hospital tank up at work and move him there.

Answer
Hi Debbie,
As I said earlier, if you have to try anything in the main tank, try the epsom salts, they wont harm the fish and there is a much smaller chance of harming the corals. I wouldnt use any other medications there though. The Epsom Salts can make pH lower and phosphates rise occasionally, which isn't good for the corals, so be very close in the dosage(1 teaspoon per 10 gallons of water volume), and check your water quality after a few hours of the initial dose. And be prepared to do a 25% water change within 24 hours if the water parameters get out of line too far. Travelling to your work wouldnt be advised for the little guy right now. The risk of physical damage to the eyes is much higher while under the pressure they are. So give it a try and let me know how its going!
