Question
hello i had a question. i have 2 columbian sharks and they are about 5 inches long. i also have 3 barbs and a beta and some mollies. i have a 60 gallon tank with a fluval 303. i know that the sharks need brackish water. i was wondering if the other fish can tolerate the brackish water or do i need to get rid of them? can you please help me on that. thanks

Answer
i dont happen to have as much knowledge in the freshwater hobby than the saltwater but i may be able to be of some sort of help to you here, if i am correct columbian sharks do not require brackish water to live. so that would totally get rid of the problem right there. pretty much any fish that is brackish can either go full saltwater or full freshwater at any time.

if you really want a brackish tank i know the mollies will do fine as they can be kept in full saltwater tanks but the betta i am not so sure about. most likely not.

really hope this helps your problems
