new salt water aquarium

I set my 65 gal saltwater tank up 9 days ago now, I have base rock and some small pieces of live rock int with artifical plants. I still have a cloudy tank even with a high powered canister filter and a hand on back filter system. I have a blower in the tank as i was told i needed it. I also have some starter fish in it. what do i do and how can i clear it up?  p.s i started it with live sand and made the salt water for packages

Hi Jeff,

I would give it a little more time, and eventually it will completely clear up. I do recommend to add a beneficial live bacteria, a couple that I recommend include: Brightwell Aquatics MicroBacter 7, or BioZyme. See the following link below, in reference to Brightwell Aquatics MicroBacter 7.
