Question
If my stones have algae...green coating... can I clean them in bleach and just not use them for a week or two?  will that get rid of the algae and allow the stones to be used again?

Answer
Hello,

I would not recommend using bleach to clean anything for your aquarium. Instead, turn your rocks over about one a month or when the algae starts to get quite long and stringy. This way they rocks will lose the algae on the bottom and grow a little bit on the top. A little bit of algae is natural and good for your tank.

Hope this helps.
