Question
Hello Karen,
Thanks for answering me back so quickly about my Nitrite concerns, I just tested my water at 7:30Pm and these are my readings, Ammonia(oppm) Nitrite(5.0ppm) Nitrate(20ppm) and ph is (7.4)
So what your saying is that it looks like my tank is 90 percent Cycled huh?, thanks for easing my mind about the NItrite, I'll keep you posted ok.

                              Take Care....Tony
P.S. Did I mention that I have 31 fishes in my 33long, I know, I know, I didn't want to mention that, cause I know you would want to kick my a--!but, if it will make you feel better, they are all tiny fishes, (6)neons,(6) blk tetras,(4) penguins tetra, (5)head/tail glow tetra,(1)high-fin Pleco,(1)tri-hop-lo cat,(1)cory cat,(2)algae eaters(2)red gouramis,(1)Red Parrot,(2)long-fin zebras, >that equals=(31)< also My tank looks like the Amazon Jungle, beautifully planted, but heavy and 3 big peices of driftwood, plus a Fluval 204, Aqua clear 50, a box filter, and a Cascade submersible 100 and 1 air anchor by Penn-Plax, that's it!! THAT'S IT?!! you probably want to whip my butt, but you're too much of a lady to give me a piece of your mind, I just couldn't help it Karen..I couldn't stop myself from buying fish, but Thank God, I am doing all these water changes, because I' know what will happen if I don't, If you like you can give me a piece of your mind...                        Tony( I deserve it!)

Answer
Dear Tony,
Don't worry! We've got things under control. Yes, in fact I would in fact frown upon adding 31 fish to a 33gal long so quickly. ;-) But it's only sensible to go besides that as it's pretty much beyond the whole point. But--I do hope you learn from this my fellow friend. And be sure to tell others of your now great wisedom please.

~Good! Some Nitrate now! You are so close.  I cannot confirm for certain how close, but you are almost there. You are almost done. I must say you have done exceptionally well with your cycling being to that fact that you keep 31 one fish in an aquarium during cycling and have had little or no loss (am I correct? Sorry, between everybody else, I get people and their fish mixed up sometimes! ;-)

You have a well stocked aquarium that could become a truly beautiful showpiece (and I'm sure it already is) just be sure to keep up with those water changes and testing--testing! I'm sorry for having to repeat myself but I guess it's good.

As a very rough estimate, I would say your aquarium is roughly 90% cycled.

Very best wishes,
Karen~ will appreciate being kept posted!
