convict breeding

hello,

i have 2 convicts(one male, one female). And i was interested in breeding them.... the only thing is tho that the male, has become territorial and duz not appreciate the orange bellied female to come close. I reeely want them to breed but i havent the foggiest idea as to y this may be happening.....

Hi Ishan,
Thank you for your letter. I'm not an expert in this area of fish care, but can make one observation. You need to create a natural environment in your tank that includes hiding places for the fish. I think there's also some special aquarium gear you might need. If you hook up with a good aquarium supply shop, the sales people should know what to get you.
