Question
Hello Karen.  Once again thanks for all the awesome advice on my african cichlid tank!  I just have a couple little questions.  One, would there be any reason other than being somewhat smaller for one of the fish to be a loner near the top of the tank?  Two, since I figured out the haze was uneaten food Ive gotten all 30 africans in my tank and im trying to identify a few of them, ive looked everywhere but to no avail...can you tell me where i can find pics of both juvenile and mature male and female african cichlids?  Please help, thanks again!

Answer
Hello Again Jay!
Here's a website with tons of pictures and info on Lake Malawi African cichlids. Perhaps this might help-
"Malawicichlids.com/index/htm"
This might help.

I also HIGHLY recommend you also try posting pictures of your cichlids on fish forums like "TFHmagazine.com" forum. There perhaps somebody will be able to indentify it. I'm a member  by the way.

I would be sure to watch the "loner" fish and make sure he is not being bullied or that he is not getting sick. Just kept a good eye on him. I hope he gets better!

Well, I really do hope this helps!
Only my very best wishes and Happy fishkeeping!!!!
Karen~ Best of luck!
