smell

i have a 29 gal tank my fish are from an outside pond which i bring them in for the winter only because i have a large placo and also a large gold fish.anyway my tank smells like awful fishy smell if if you walk by it.i have changed the water and all filters.please help me.thank you

Hello,

You may have a bad bacteria or waste build up. You should syphon your gravel and clean all decorations. You may also want to use a combination of Waste Control and Cycle (both by Nutrafin) to help contol any smelly waste. If you have recently cleaned the filters, then you may want to give them about a week to begin controlling the smell before you take any drastic measures.
