Arowana and Pacu Compatibility

I have a silver arowana and i have just bought a silver pacu. But they r getting aggressive on each other. So i m afraid whether i should keep them together. Waiting for ur reply urgently.

Hello,

A pacu should be ok to keep with the arowana on two conditions:

1) The arowana never grows faster then the pacu and never grows to a point where he can fit the pacu in its mouth.

2) Neither of them cause open wounds on the other. If there are starting to seriously injure each other they should be seperated.

Most fish fight and compete for their territory in aquariums, so as long as the above two comments don't occur they should be alright together.
