Question
I had a prob with ICH. It killed a few fish. but I still have about 7 left (a black molly, 2 orange Molly-like, 4 neons). I am using copprsafe. I put in the proper dosage, took out the media from my filter (an Eclipse). it's been about 1 1/2 weeks since i did this. the black molly had some white spots on him that have now disappeared. what's next step? how long until i put media back in filter?  the tank temp is about 78. should i turn this up a bit more? also when can i do a partial water change? i picked up some Tetra Aquasafe and some TopFin Conditioning salt. should I use them? and only when I do the water change? thanks, I know this is a loaded question.

Answer
Hello,

As soon as you are done the entire treatment cycle recommended on the package you can go back to your regular water changes and add the media back to the filter. And yes, once you do your water changes you can add your Aquasafe and salt.

You can turn the tank up to around 80-82 F but it is only really necessary when treating for the ich, so if treatment is done then you should not need to turn up the temperature.

I hope this helps.

Stephanie
