Hi Paul,                                                       I was wondering if u can answer this question well.You see i have a plant in my 10 gallon aquarium.which is now growing taller until it reach the surface.what should i do with it?

Totally depends what type of plant it is. Do you have any idea? If it's a val you can just cut it wherever, if it's a stem plant you can cut it right below it's node (where the leaves come out) and then just replant it. You can cut it about halfway down the plant.

Or it might be something else, more information needed.
