aquarium leaks

Hi Karen,

Every aquarium I set up ends up leaking within a month or so.  So far I have had two different 10 gallon tanks and two different 15 gallon tanks. HELP!!!!!!

What bad luck!

Do you think the aquariums are unlevel on the stand or area of the house you keep them on? Maybe if the tanks are unlevel it is putting too much pressure and weakening the sealant.

Were these aquariums you had used or brand new? This shouldn't be a continuing problem. I would definitely try setting the tanks up outside on reasonably level ground, then checking for leaks. If it's a small leak you could probably fix it very easily, using aquarium sealant.
