I read on a  website that a male Angel gets a "bump" on its head and its eyes are more darker red in colour than female.I need your opinion on this

Its true that Male angelfish do eventually get a slight bump on their forehead and their eyes are slightly darker red than the females. But keep in mind this is only in older males that are at least a few years old at least. The best way to distinguish between male and female angelfish is to wait and see them spawn and then you can go by their spawning tubes. Since in the male it is pointed and the female it is short and blunt.
