tank lights

i get off of work arond three pm,i turn on lights then.i leave them on till about nine pm is that ok?is there any harm if not done right just curious spent some money you know

Hi Brian,
There's nothing wrong with your current lighting schedule. I think it'll continue to work out well.

It'll help keep algae problems down tremendously which is a very good thing. Plus your fish won't mind it either.
