Butterfly with Convict

Question
Ok I have looked everywhere and cannot find an answer. For a 30 gal tank would this combination work? 2 convict cichlids, 1  African butterfly fish, 1 male betta, 1 albino pleco, 1 shrimp and 1 crab?

hi Alexa:  no... that would not work.  The crab will eventually eat the pleco and probably tear up the cichlids or vice versa and the male betta while aggressive has no business in a cichlid tank especially with a crab... the african butterfly fish would PROBABLY do ok with the cichlids as would the pleco.  hope this helps... dave
