beta illness

I have a female Beta. have a big vertical white spot, around the spot is dark. she is eating normally and swim around the tank. She is happy and attend to me when she can see to me. The spot was small and then growing up. I treat the tank with melafix by 7 days but there are not changes. I want treat with maracyn. Are you thin that this will be correct? sorry about my english. Thanks

Melafix takes a while to work as its a weaker treatment than an antibiotic treatment.
If you wish to switch treatments you should do a water change, add new carbon to the filter to filter out the old medication you don;t what several kinds of meds all mixed together.
You could also dip the beta in a saltwater mix as well.
whichever you choose, follow the directions and remove the carbon.
