freshwater sand

hi karen im setting up a 75 gal. freshwater stingray tank, im wanting to use sand in there, i was told i can use silica sand i love the color and its affordable. can i use this sand? also any other advice on stingrays will help.... thank you

Hi Nick,
Unfortunately I don't have much advice on Stringrays besides what I've read. The best I can tell you is to ask any questions you have about them on trusted forums like Monsterfishkeepers.com and do as much research as possible.

But I can say that I've used Silica sand for years and it has been absolutely wonderful. It should work well in your tank.
