i am trying to "restart" the filter after cleaning it and there are air bubbles coming out of the intake and absolutely nothing coming out of the reentry. i have tried the primer and blown the end piece off of the filter end 3 times. i thought i did everything as far as the levers to keep water in the hose. i even tried to fill the filter before restarting and nothing seems to work. i am extremely frustrated.

Make sure the top is on in the correct direction... if that doesn't work try to switch the hoses...you may have reversed them accidently... I have a couple of fluvals and this happens to me every once in awhile... it is very frustrating for sure.  Let me know if the trouble continues.   dave
