how doi keep myfish tank clean i have change the filters and water it still has dark water in the tank

Hello Connie,

Every week you need to do a 25% water change to your tank. Also if you are just starting out with your tank your water well be cloudy because your tank has to cycle, this means that all the good bacteria and stuff has to grow in your filters and in your rocks so it actually hurts your tank more then helps it to change the filter alot. Also make sure that you water condtions are where they should be (pH-7, Hardness-soft to hard, nitrate-0,nitrite-0). If all this stuff has been done to your tank it should clear up in one to two weeks.
