freshwater angel fish

Hello,
I just brought an angle fish home from the store. I didn't notice it at the store but now that it is in the tank (45 gallon)I see that it is missing one of the fin type things that hang down where there are normally two. I'm sorry I don't know what those are called. I am wondering if it will grow back? Possibly another fish bit it off? It is a larger size angel. Not a baby. Will this affect it's health?

Hi Elkim

Most fish stores have a 14 day return policy on live fish. You can return it to the store and exchange for another one if you wish. Otherwise, your Angel should be fine without that fin. It should grow back, but will take time. Don't put any fin nipping fish in with her like Barbs and most Tetras.
