Question
Hi i have asked you a few questions before and you really helped. My baby Fry mostly swim at the top of the tank , they do swim at the around, but they are mostly at the top. Should i be worried? Also, I feed them the food i made them crushed up flakes, basically powder, should i keep feeding them this, what age should i stop and my past guppy fish won't eat the flakes when grown up. Do they have to eat the crisps. Thank you SO much, you really help me.
Happy Holidays,
Emily

Answer
Hi Emily;

The powdered food is good for babies until they seem big enough to eat flakes. If your other fish only like the crisps, that's fine. It's a good basic diet for them. Adults and babies could also have other foods a few times a week such as tiny bits of spinach, cooked carrots, brine shrimp, spirulina algae, cooked peas, and cooked green beans too. Just rinse and drop them in the tank. Remove veggies after a few hours if they don't eat it all. They can stay in much longer than flakes, crisps, pellets, shrimp, etc., because they don't foul the water the same, but you don't want to leave them to get nasty.

Have fun!
