All of the parasites and worms are dead. But my female parrotfish is gonna lay her egs.Does the salt hurt the eggs?
Thanks.

Answer
Hi agian Jalal,
I am glad it worked out for you.  Heat and salt is a great method to cure ich.  If the Parrotfish meaning Blood Parrot fish, then the males will always be infertile because the Blood Parrot is a cross breed between a severum and a red devil I believe.  There are very rare occasions where blood parrots can breed.  Although the females will lay eggs, the males are infertile and the eggs will never hatch.  To breed parrots, people usually keep the female parrot in a plastic mesh net-like cage in the tank with a male red devil.  The male devil will sense the females hormones and the 2 will mate through the net.  There are also other hybrids such as the blood parrot and a flowerhorn, which gives blood parrots horns.  Also some other hybrids with a severum.  There are many of them out there and the males are usually unsterile.

I dont believe the salt will harm the fish eggs, but I still would try to remove as much as possible if the treatment is over.
