Betas Eye

Question
I noticed that my Beta Fish has a swollen eye.  It looks like there is a puffy clear coating over his eye.  Is there something I can give him to help him?  He is still eating and acting normal.

Answer
Hi Karen;

Your poor little fella has 'pop-eye'. There are many different causes and many different treatment options. Keep his water clean and very warm (82 degrees fahrenheit) to help him get through it while we try to figure out the cause. I found a great article on this condition to give you more info;

Read through the sections that you think may pertain to your little fish and get back to me if you have any more questions.

Hope he feels better soon......
