Weird thing in tank

Hi, my 3 year old told me that something weird was crawling along the bottom of his fish tank, and when i looked, it was...
It has six legs, about the size of a fly with a ridgeback going up from front to back, with big eyes any idea what it could be.

Wow! Seems to me like you may have somehow acquired a shrimp. It's probably a ghost shrimp, is it white and kind of see-through?
