oscar bhavior

I have 2 oscars in a 30 gallon tank. They seem to be very happy, but at night they go crazy! One even jumped out one night and wasnt discovered til morning.Yes my tank is covered and yes he survived. Also my white oscar has been digging and stacking gravel at the corners. Is this nesting and do i need to do anything special for her?

Hi Sherry,
 It sounds like they are thinking about nesting.  Basically, 30 gallons is not a lot of space for two adult oscars and you might be in for some big problems if one decides that it doesn't like the other one.
