Thanks for that answer but what should I do about the one being bashed thats got red blood on it still ok for the moment? Shall I remove the sucking loach have read that they get aggresive as get older whats classed as older wks yrs in a fish life??

Hi i read some where that sucking loach can be very aggressive towards other fish. and also i have 1 fat zebra danio and 1 slim zebra danio a and the small one keeps bashing the bigger one and it is got blood on it like it is hurting it. do i need to get another upside down catfish for the one i have, and will it be ok i get neon tetras.

Hi Jamie,
  Many fish can be aggressive towards other fish.  

  If you see blood on a fish then it is definitely in trouble.

  You do not have to get another upside down catfish.

 Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear. You need to remove the injured fish immediately or else it will likely be killed.  

 Aggression isn't purely a function of age.  Basically, if a fish is larger than another fish, odds are high that the larger one is going to be aggressive towards the smaller one, no matter what age either fish is.
