Question
i have one pair of mollies. my female is orange with loads of black spot marking's. she gave birth about 3 weeks ago. but today have noticed that the male will not leave her alone, she's swimming at speed up and down at the back of the tank near the heater and the male is swimming very close by her, trying to get his face to her back end. she is big but i can't make out if she's pregnant of not. i have removed from the main tank and in there she's going mad and he's trying to get her still .

Answer
Hi Jackie,
I cannot say exactly when a molly will give birth.  It is definitely possible that she is due again.   The male is trying to mate with her.  He will do that regardless of her status, i.e., whether she is already pregnant, has just given birth, etc. That's what male mollies do. That's really all that male mollies do. :)
