Unknown Species of Goldfish

Question
I recently purchased a red and white Oranda and another fish that I don't know the species of. This unknown fish has a slender, sharp body. It has black fins and its tail is composed of two sharp V-shaped fins about a third of the length of its body. It has a light orange coloration that gets darker as it gets closer to the top of the body. Its most notable feature is a thin, black line that goes from mouth to tail. My apologies if this description is too long or unclear. It would be really helpful if you could help me figure out what the fish is. Thanks.

Answer
Hey Donovan,

It sounds to me like a calico fantail goldfish. Kind of an ugly little bugger in my opinion, but I'm just not a goldfish fan period. It could be a shubunkin with a funny tail, or perhaps a different type of fantail as well, but without a picture, my money would rest on a calico fantail.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
