Question
Hi...I have 2 large suckerfish. One is around 12 in. and the other is about 9-10 in. We are military and moving from Washington State to Kentucky. I have had these guys for almost 3 years now, and dont really want to get rid of them not to mention I dont know anyone with a tank large enough to house them. I just am wondering what would be the best way to transport them and how "fragile" they are when moving like that. Any information would be very much appreciated!!! Thank you!!!!

Answer
Stacy,                                                       Walmart actually sells a bucket that keeps them aerated during a move. If you can't get one put them into a large rubbermaid bin with the water they are in add more if necessary. Every couple of hours or so agitate the water to aerate them. If you are flying the motion of the plane will do that. They are tough fish. I don't think that you should have too much trouble moving them....Good Luck,Tina   You can also get an electric airpump from the pet shop and put an airstone in there .... this will aerate your water without doing it manually.
