FANCY GOLDFISH W/INJURY

Question
We have a large outdoor pond.  I have a large fancy goldfish with scoliosis.  She managed to get into the pond filter and her large tail is in schreds.  Is she ok, or in pain?  I do not want to get rid of her, she is a part of the family and my Grandson has her named.  Please advise.  Thanks, Nola

Nola,                                                        Sorry didn't get back to you sooner. Comp crash. You goldies scoliosis was caused by a vitamin C defficiency.I think you should direct this question to pond expert robyn rhudy. He probably could use a little antibiotic, but I have no idea about medicating a large pond. Good Luck... I am sure he will be fine goldies are very resilient. ,Tina
